Good elected officials need to make the best decisions for the communities they represent – not just for today but for future decades and future generations.
We implore everyone to think about this when deciding how to vote in November.

Our government’s debt management is at risk because of Republican policies that have led to massive, unprecedented income disparities supported by unending tax breaks for multi-millionaires and billionaires. That is unacceptable.

If you grew up in a Republican household, you may be trying to hold on to those traditional Republican values of small government, less regulation, regard for our constitution, and individual liberty. Unfortunately, your party has left you, and the only way to get it back is to send a signal that today’s Republican party is too extremist to get your vote.
Whatever your party, it is critical to vote Democratic all the way down the ballot – not just for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz but also for Andy Kim for Senate, Mikie Sherrill for Congress, Justin Strickland, Jonathan Sackett, and Bud Ravitz for Morris County, and Jocelyn Mathiasen and Katherine Hay for Borough Council.
These Democratic candidates are smart, hard-working, and caring people and they believe in the real American values of personal autonomy, protection of our earth, and government that works for all of the people.
Not only that, unlike the Republican candidates at every level of government, they would not be too cowardly to stand up to a party leader who tried to negate hundreds of millions of votes in this Democracy, by force if necessary, as Donald Trump did in 2020.
