Police News Chatham. Went out to certain residents

District 8 Residents,

Yesterday there was a burglary to a home on Jodi Lane.  The suspect(s) were seen in the area knocking on doors.  The suspect(s) are telling residents that open their doors that they are looking for a dog.  Then they move on to the next home to check if the residents are away.  Again, if ANYONE knocks on your door asking for a lost dog, please call 9-11 immediately.  Do not hesitate. Do not call (973)377-0100.  Do not email me.  CALL 9-11 and provide a description of the suspicious person.  Also, if anyone has information about the incident that occurred on 3/18/2014 please contact me.
