The Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township (PCCT) invites area families to make a difference in the lives of others. Take part in the Church’s Weekend of Service on Saturday and Sunday, September 16and 17.
PCCT is hosting three volunteer opportunities appropriate for all ages (12 and up for the Foodbank):

Saturday:
· America’s Grow –A –Row: volunteers will harvest produce for free farm markets and area food banks “down on the farm” in the Clinton area from 9 am to 12 pm. Car pools will leave Chatham at 8:00 am.
· Hillside Foodbank: volunteers will sort food for redistribution to hungry people throughout northern NJ from 9 – 11 am at the Foodbank. Car pools will leave from the Church parking lot at 8:15 am. Volunteers can also drive directly to Hillside and meet onsite.
Sunday:
· Hygiene Kits/Sustainable Lunches: congregation members will be packing sustainable lunches for hungry individuals to be given to Bridges for distribution. They will also assemble hygiene kits to be taken to Haiti by PCCT’s mission team.
“These service opportunities reflect our congregation’s commitment to mission and service, supporting programs that feed the hungry, help the homeless and reduce poverty,” says the Rev. Tom Brown, Associate Pastor. “PCCT offers a wide range of service opportunities for all ages and our Weekend of Service is a great way to get involved and discover for yourself the deep satisfaction that comes from helping others.”

The Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township (PCCT) is an inviting, multi-generational congregation that celebrates the glory of God through faith, fellowship and service.
