As October is Opioid Awareness Month, Professional Physical Therapy & Training, LLC, invites the community to attend “Alternative Treatment for Orthopedic Injuries: How to Avoid Opioid Use in an Athletic Population” from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, in the Kroll conference room at the Madison Area YMCA.
Presented by Dr. Kristin Cardamone D.O. & Miriam Hillman PT, DPT, CKTP, this free joint lecture on alternative approaches to pain management is targeted to both the young athlete and their parents. Join us as we discuss safe and effective treatments for common orthopedic injuries as an alternative to opioid medication. Learn about the integral role of physical therapy in both recovery and reducing the risk of re-injury.
