St. Patrick School (Chatham) Celebrate All Saints Day

Holy Day of Obligation

St. Patrick School (Chatham) third grade students led a mass celebrating All Saints Day on Wednesday, November 1st. Under the guidance third grade teacher Mrs. Johnson, the students wore their ‘Saint Projects”, an annual tradition at St. Patrick School. To prepare for the special mass each third grader chose a Saint he or she admired and researched factual information, including their birth, canonization, and feast days. The project culminated with the students’ preparation of written reports about their chosen Saints, with the students proudly dressed up as their Saints of choice for the mass.

St. Patrick School honors our past through a true spirit of generosity that nurtures the faith formation of each child, seeing Christ in all we do and say. As a school community, we seek to build the future by encouraging every student to reach their academic potential and be an example of our Catholic identity, living the Gospel message in service to others.
