St. Patrick School’s Basket Bonanza 2018 Proves Highly Successful

Annual Fundraiser

St. Patrick School’s largest annual fundraiser, “Basket Bonanza” was held on Saturday, April 21st. Hosted by the St. Patrick Home and School Association, “Night at the Museum’s” themed event featured student artwork inspired by famous artists. The festivities commenced with a Preview Party hosted on Friday, April 20th for over 100 proud alumni and their families.

The proceeds from this event are used to fund school programs, services, and projects as well as teacher salary support. The event consists of a tricky tray raffle during the day for families and an adult evening with other exciting auction items. During the evening program, a special appeal was made for the school’s new Makerspace and raised over $25,000 which is being matched by an anonymous donor. Renovations of the redesigned library will begin this June.

Saint Patrick School, accredited by AdvancED, is a co-educational, parochial elementary school for students in preschool through eighth grade. The school has been nationally recognized as a United States Department of Education Blue Ribbon School, and a Diocese of Paterson Star School. Saint Patrick School is also a STEM school that promotes student critical thinking and application throughout the curriculum in all grades.
