Students Shave Their Heads to Support St. Baldrick’s Foundation

Students from St. Patrick School in Chatham are participating in a unique event to raise money to support The St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which funds research into treatments for childhood cancers. In solidarity with children fighting cancer everywhere, students will shave their heads to raise money for St. Baldrick’s.  Inspired by their Dad’s battle with cancer, brothers Drew (’12), Joey and Christian Rosowicz raised more than $55,000 last year. This year the boys will be joined by friends from St. Patrick School, including the 5th grade boys basketball team, in a special fund raising event on March 14th.  The one brave girl to sign up is Erin Vostal who will shave her long blond hair. Another special participant is fifth grade student Josh Fernandez. Josh has set up his own fundraising page, spurred by his own experience with a serious illness.
