True Independents Vote With A Sense of Balance

No matter how you vote at the top of your ballot, this year vote and consider the balance in the Chathams as you choose your local candidate.

There are 12 elected positions in the Chathams. Currently 11 seats are held by Democrats and this election could result in 12-0 single party government across both towns. Mark Lois is the last elected Republican and running for re-election to Township Committee. Adding a twelfth Democrat to the 11 other Democrats would abandon the system of checks and balances of a two party system. Proper functioning, transparent government demands another view and a differing perspective. The role of a challenging party is to at least to inform the public and the press of alternatives to the decisions and choices made by our elected leadership.

Mark Lois has repeatedly exercised his voice to challenge the majority and to stand up for residents. Consider two examples from 2023 and 2024:

Don't leave a 12 to zero monolith in the Chathams. Vote for balance and vote for Republican Mark Lois for Chatham Township Committee.
