As a 15 year resident of Chatham, I am happy and proud to endorse Carolyn Dempsey for Borough Council. She is an exemplary leader and fine person. I first got to know Carolyn as a leader at our church. She has served on numerous committees and headed up the Christian Education program in addition to sharing her musical talent as a singer and musician in Choir. Her intellect and compassion make her uniquely equipped for public office. I know her to be fair and passionate about helping others. She and her family are active participants and fundraisers for The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Carolyn bravely fought and survived breast cancer. She took that “lemon” and turned it into “lemonade.” She rallied her family and friends, remaining positive throughout the experience. Carolyn understands the needs of the Chatham community because she’s been an active part of the community for many years. It’s a wonderful endeavor for her to give back in this way and run for Borough Council. Please get to know her for yourself. She’s a warm and welcoming person who will represent Chatham residents well.
