Young Girls Approached By Suspicious Man At Chatham Borough Playground

CHATHAM BOROUGH, NJ — Three young girls were approached by a suspicious man near the Milton Avenue School over the weekend, police said.

According to police, three juvenile girls were at the playground at Milton Avenue School on Saturday when a middle-age man approached them. The girls told police the man offered them a ride, and then drove away at a high rate of speed. He was alone in the car.

Police said the man was a white male between 30 and 40 years old, with black hair and glasses. He was driving a white four door vehicle with New York license plates, but no registration information is available.
