The video shows Howard standing on a counter while she yelled at and spit on the older woman. Davis then went up to the older woman, spit on her, knocked her to the ground and punched her in the head until an employee broke up the fight.
As they were being separated, a man tried to help the victim up. The victim was visibly disoriented and unable to stand. Information about the victim has not been released, but police say she was treated for injuries to her face and head. Police said the assault began after the victim told Davis and Howard not to use profanity in the store.

Responding officers arrested Davis and Howard, but only charged them with disorderly conduct and fined $200 because Wawa surveillance video didn’t capture any of the actual assault, police said. It only showed that there was a disturbance.
Davis and Howard were released, pending future charges for simple assault. After police learned of and viewed the online video, the charges were upgraded.
