Cherry Hill Football Teams Drop Season-Opening Games
Cherry Hill West fell by one point to Triton, and Eastern dropped Cherry Hill East, 32-20, according to nj.com.

The Triton High School football team came from behind to defeat Cherry Hill West by one point in the opening game of the 2014 season, according to nj.com.
Triton prevailed, 20-19.
Cherry Hill West scored the first 13 points of the game, in the first quarter.

However, fortunes changed in the second quarter, when Dominic Staiano picked off a pass and returned it 42 yards for a Triton score.
Jake McGlinchey’s 10-yard run later in the quarter helped Triton to pull within one point heading into halftime.

McGlinchey scored again in the fourth, on a 5-yard run. He caught a pass from Kevin Bucceroni for the two-point conversion, which proved the difference. Cherry Hill West scored once more, but failed to convert the PAT kick.
Cherry Hill East also dropped its first game of the season, falling to Eastern, 32-20.
