Cherry Hill Library Reopening For Contactless Pickup

The Cherry Hill Public Library is preparing to reopen for contactless pickup next week for items that have been put on hold.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — The Cherry Hill Public Library is preparing to reopen for contactless pickup next week for items that have been put on hold. Patrons will be notified once this service is available.

Gov. Phil Murphy announced on Friday that libraries can begin to provide contact-less pickup for library materials starting on June 15. Read More: Gov. Murphy Announces More NJ Business Coronavirus Reopenings

Books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, and video games can all be returned now in the library’s outdoor book drops at the library and at the Post Office on Marlkress Road.

Items can be placed on hold via online catalog. Anyone who has questions or needs help should email chplref@chplnj.org or leave a message by calling 856-667-0300, ext. 2. Library staff will answer questions Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

While the library is closed, Cherry Hill residents can fill out an online card application to get a temporary card number and take advantage of digital resources. An email address is required in order to receive a temporary card number. All current library cards were extended to a June 2020 expiration date.
