Confessed Drug Trafficking Supervisor From Camden Sentenced To Prison: Feds
The man admitted to conspiracy to distribute more than 280 grams of crack, as well as quantities of heroin and fentanyl, officials said.
CAMDEN, NJ — A man who confessed to being a "shift manager" in a Camden drug-trafficking operation has been sentenced to prison, federal officials said.
District Judge Renée Marie Bumb sentenced Christopher Vasquez to 140 months in prison on Thursday, according to U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger. Bumb also sentenced Vasquez, 32, to seven years' supervised release, Sellinger said.
Vasquez had already pleaded guilty in Camden federal court to an indictment charging him with conspiracy to distribute more than one kilogram of heroin, more than 280 grams of crack cocaine, and unspecified quantities of cocaine and fentanyl, Sellinger's office said.

The drug-trafficking organization was operating in the 400-500 block of Pine Street in Camden, said Sellinger. Vasquez admitted to supervising and directing street-level sellers who distributed controlled substances to customers, officials said.
"From January 2018 to Nov. 28, 2018, he met with conspirators who were involved in the scheme and discussed the operations and management of the drug trafficking organization," Sellinger said. "He also provided drugs to street-level sellers."
