Dr. Elizabeth Schopfer Earns Doctor of Philosophy Degree from Capella University

A native of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Dr. Schopfer has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to academic excellence and service to others.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Family, friends, colleagues, and mentors proudly celebrated the academic achievement of Dr. Elizabeth Schopfer, who was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree by Capella University during commencement ceremonies held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

A native of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Dr. Schopfer has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to academic excellence and service to others. She graduated as Valedictorian of Cherry Hill High School West’s Class of 2009, setting the foundation for an outstanding educational and professional career.

Dr. Schopfer continued her studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her college degrees before dedicating her career to supporting the emotional well-being and academic success of children and families. She currently serves as a Bilingual Counselor, Presenter, Trainer, and Crisis Intervention Specialist, specializing in trauma-informed care with the Pine Hill Borough Board of Education School District. She is recognized throughout New Jersey for her presentations and training on school mental health, crisis intervention, and best practices for supporting students.

Receiving her Ph.D. marks the culmination of years of dedication, perseverance, and a passion for lifelong learning.
