East, Camden Catholic Football Each Fall to 0-2

Neither team could get the offense going Saturday.

A young Camden Catholic team experienced a few more growing pains Saturday afternoon, falling to 0-2 on the season in a 35-7 road loss to Camden at Woodrow Wilson.

The Irish went into halftime down 27-0 and fell even deeper in the hole in the third, on Khalif Williams' third rushing touchdown of the day, before finally getting on the board with a Matt Goldner-to-Jamal Parker touchdown pass.

Cherry Hill East, meanwhile, had the same offensive woes it had against Williamstown in the season opener—the Cougars let up seven touchdowns before scoring against Pennsauken in a 48-7 loss, and had no answer for Indians running back Marquan Jones, who racked up 153 yards and two scores.
