Enjoy Christmas In Concert at the Borgata

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, as the saying goes, and if you’re looking for something different to enjoy, Atlantic City’s Borgata has you covered.

Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa Hosts a song-and-dance revenue, Christmas In Concert, through December 24th.

Produced by Allen Valentine, this show immerses the audience in the magic of the season with memorable performances of holiday classics such as “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” “Sleigh Ride,” Run, Run, Rudolph,” “O Holy Night,” and many more. Eight talented singers capture the heart of the season through these songs, performed in tandem with a live orchestra and dance troupe.

With dazzling visuals, stunning costumes, and vibrant choreography, Christmas In Concert offers something for everyone—whether you’re reliving treasured memories or creating new ones. We very much enjoyed the all-ages show’s segment where audience members were invited onstage to act out specific lines from “The 12 Days of Christmas.” There were mostly well-known holiday songs performed, as well as few lesser-known numbers, such as “Mele Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas),” an Hawaiian holiday song first made famous by The Andrews Sisters in 1949.

We were especially impressed with the high-quality production aspects of this show: the singing, the dancing, and the live band onstage. It was an extremely polished performance and well worth the $30 ticket price.

“We’re beyond excited to bring this spectacular holiday event to Borgata,” said producer Allen Valentine. “The vibrant energy, captivating music, and pure joy radiating from the stage are infectious.” We completely agreed!

For our visit to see this holiday show, we decided to make an (over)night of it, booking a mid-week performance with a bay-view room at the Borgata. After checking on a recent Thursday, we headed to the casino floor to try our luck, then enjoyed a sumptuous meal at B-Prime, one of Borgata’s two popular steakhouses. Dinner at B-Prime was a true experience. We savored our entrees – filet mignon and Chilean sea bass – as well as the fabulous side dishes of a (massive) stuffed baked potato and creamed spinach. The service was impeccable, as was the food preparation.

There are several fantastic restaurants to choose from at the Borgata, including Italian restaurant Angeline by Michael Symond. (We also loved The Buffett, where we enjoyed a fantastic brunch the morning we checked out).
