Cherry Hill Brewery To Close; Lease Negotiations Fell Through, Forgotten Boardwalk Says
The brewery will remain open through February and hopes to conduct business, in some form, in the future.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Forgotten Boardwalk will shutter its Cherry Hill brewery, following unsuccessful negotiations to renew its lease, the company announced Friday.
The brewery will maintain regular hours and welcome visitors until Feb. 29. Forgotten Boardwalk hopes to conduct business, in some form, in the future.
Forgotten Boardwalk pushed to extend the lease, according to Jamie Queli, the company's founder and CEO. But the landlord and a neighboring business refused to negotiate an extension, she claims.

"We have vigorously tried to sign a lease extension with our landlord to no avail as our next door neighbor has leased out the space from underneath us," said the announcement from Queli and Forgotten Boardwalk. "We are extremely disappointed and quite frankly, appalled at the actions of both companies and their adamant refusals to negotiate with us."
