Interventional Cardiologist Joins Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center

​John J. Finley IV, MD, FACC, FSCAI, recently joined the medical staff at Lourdes

John J. Finley IV, MD, FACC, FSCAI, recently joined the medical staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. He specializes in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular medicine.

Dr. Finley comes to Lourdes from Pennsylvania Heart and Vascular Group, and Aria Health, where he worked as an interventional cardiology staff physician.

Dr. Finley completed a clinical fellowship in interventional cardiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and a clinical fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Tufts Medical Center, serving as chief fellow. He performed his internal medicine residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Finley earned his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University – Jefferson Medical College and his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Dartmouth College, graduating with honors.

Dr. Finley is board-certified in internal medicine, interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease. He is a diplomate of the National Board of Echocardiography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Medicine.

Dr. Finley is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a fellow member of the American Heart Association and Society for Coronary Angiography and Intervention. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the American Medical Association.

Nominated as one of seven cardiology fellows in the country, Dr. Finley was a 2010 American College of Cardiology Russek Travel Award winner.

Dr. Finley has presented his research at national and regional scientific meetings and has had his research published in major medical journals, including Interventional Cardiology, Circulation, Journal of the American College of Cardiology: Heart Failure, and Diabetes.
