Man Killed, 1 Injured In Camden County Shooting: Officials Seek Tips

A Cumberland County man was killed and a Camden man was injured in a shooting Saturday night, county police said.

CAMDEN, NJ — A shooting Saturday night left a South Jersey man dead and another injured, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

County police responded to the 3200 block of Saunders Avenue in Camden at 8:46 p.m. Saturday for a ShotSpotter notification, officials said. Officers found two men with gunshot wounds on the scene, according to the CCPO.

First responders took both men to Cooper University Medical Center. Eric Cecelia, 31, of Leesburg was pronounced dead at 9:53 p.m. according to officials. The other victim, a 20-year-old Camden man, is in stable condition according to officials.
