Man Sought In Sexual Assault In Cherry Hill: Police

The man is accused of sexually assaulting a victim in the victim's car after meeting at a Wawa on Route 38.

CHERRY HILL, NJ - Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man accused of a sexual assault that took place in the victim’s car earlier this month.

The two people met at a Wawa on Route 38 at about 3:15 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, Cherry Hill police said Thursday morning. They both went in the victim’s car to an unknown place where the assault took place, police said.

Police don’t know how the man left the scene after the assault. The victim returned home and reported the assault, police said.

The man is described as being in his late 30s to early 40s, average height and build, with black hair and a beard. His image can be found below.
