Police Identify 'Suspicious' Man Who Approached 2 Girls in Cherry Hill

The investigation is ongoing.

Cherry Hill, NJ -- Cherry Hill Police have identified a suspicious man who who apparently followed two juvenile girls and offered them a ride earlier this week.

“He is not from the Cherry Hill area, but was in Cherry Hill at the time of the incident,” police said Friday morning. “The investigation is ongoing.”

No further information on the investigation was immediately provided.

The girls tell police they were approached around 5:20 p.m. Wednesday night, while they were walking home from Wawa located at 843 Cooper Landing Road.

He was driving a blue four door sedan, possibly a Buick, near the intersection of South Lincoln Avenue and Garfield Avenue.

He asked them if they needed a ride home, but they ran off and he drove away without further incident. He was allegedly at Wawa a few minutes earlier while the girls were in the store.
