• Hess and Hercules Settlements Give New Jersey $24 Million and 600 Acres of Preserved Land (thesunpapers.com) — New Jersey has finalized major pollution settlements that include a contaminated Hercules site in Chester, alongside three other towns, bringing $24 million for environmental restoration and over 600 acres of preserved land. State officials say the money will fund cleanup of damaged natural resources and permanently protect key watershed and habitat areas, aiming to ensure cleaner land and water for future generations.
