Amazon Warehouse May Bring Hundreds Of Jobs To South Jersey
No timeline for an opening has been set yet, according to published reports.

Amazon’s plans to open a new fulfillment center in Burlington County may bring hundreds of new jobs to New Jersey next year.
The 1 million square foot warehouse — which could generate about 600 jobs — would open on commercial property in Burlington, although it is unclear when it may open, according to nj.com. Amazon already has facilities in Avenel, Carteret, Cranbury, Edison, Florence, Logan and Robbinsville.
The center’s opening is made possible by separate agreements Cranbury-based Matrix Realty Inc. has signed with Burlington City and Burlington Township, according to the Courier Post. Matrix has handled other similar centers for Amazon.

The larger portion of the center will be in Burlington Township, according to Philly.com. Burlington City recently held a job fair for residents, and is providing training for city residents to qualify for jobs with the company, which already employs more than 16,000 people across the state.
The fulfillment center is part of Amazon’s expansion across New Jersey, which the online retail giant views as a main artery to quickly deliver items all over the mid-Atlantic market. Amazon also announced last year that it was opening a fulfillment center in Logan Township, Gloucester County.
