Bamboo Presenting Problem in Burlington County, Cinnaminson
Cinnaminson Zoning Officer John Marshall tells the Burlington County Times it's a problem that's difficult to legislate.

Bamboo isn’t native to Burlington County, but it is invading several towns, including Cinnaminson, the Burlington County Times reports.
There are a few areas in town that are experiencing overgrowth, including a home on Church and Lenola roads. Gordon Choyce recently sold his parents’ home, and told the newspaper the bamboo they once planted shows no signs of going away.
His parents built the house in 1947, and planted bamboo to hide the county roads that can present a nuisance, according to the report. A few years ago, it was the plant that became a nuisance when it began to grow out of control.
