Cinnaminson Boys Soccer Team Advances in South Jersey Coaches Tournament
The Pirates advanced with a 2-0 win over Shawnee.

The Cinnaminson High School boys soccer team ousted one Burlington County team from the South Jersey Coaches Association tournament, and is getting ready to face another.
The Pirates, which entered the tournament as the No. 7 seed, downed No. 10 Shawnee, 2-0, in the first round of the tournament over the weekend, according to the bracket posted on the SJCA website.
Cinnaminson will host No. 15 Moorestown, which upset No. 2 Rancocas Valley on penalty kicks, in the second round on Oct. 24, 3:30 p.m.

Steve Kalbach scored both of the Pirates’ goals in the win, according to nj.com. Goalie Mike Deal made five saves.
