Cinnaminson Football Team Dominates Rival On Thanksgiving Day

CINNAMINSON, NJ - The Cinnaminson High School football team bounced back from a disappointing playoff performance with a dominant win over their rival on Thanksgiving Day.
The Pirates defeated Delran, 39-20, according to nj.com. Rashad Raymond accounted for three touchdowns, on runs of 10, 7 and 39 yards. After Delran scored first, Raymond’s first two touchdowns tied the game and then gave Cinnaminson the lead.
Greg Willis followed with touchdown runs of 74 and 23 yards, followed by Raymond’s third touchdown as Cinnaminson. Shawn Ruffin’s 7-yard touchdown pass to John Meekins capped the scoring for the Pirates.

Cinnaminson was 8-3 this season. They were the No. 3 seed in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 2 playoffs, and opened with a 7-0 win over No. 6 Shore Regionalon a last second touchdown pass from quarterback Ruffin to Carmen Saginario. They then fell to Manasquan, 14-7, in the semifinals.
