Cinnaminson Girls Basketball Team Upset in Playoff Semifinals

The Cinnaminson High School girls basketball team saw a successful season come to an end in the semifinals of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 playoffs on Saturday.

The top-seeded Pirates fell to No. 5 Haddonfield, 55-43, according to nj.com. Haddonfield faces No. 2 Sterling in the final on Tuesday.

Marisa DiLeo had 17 points for Cinnaminson, which trailed by 10 at the end of the first quarter and was never able to recover. Fiona Flynn had 12 points.

Cinnaminson finished the season with a record of 22-7.

Cinnaminson opened the playoffs with a 60-16 win over No. 16 Buena.
