Cinnaminson Girls Cross Country Team Competes for South Jersey Title Saturday

A little less than a month after winning the Division 1 title at the South Jersey Open, the Cinnaminson High School girls cross country team is taking aim at the South Jersey Group I title.

The sectional cross country meets take place Saturday at Delsea Regional High School. The Group I girls race begins at 11:15 a.m. The Group I boys race begins at 10:25 a.m.

Cinnaminson defeated Pitman, 62-67, at the South Jersey Open on the same course on Oct. 11. Haddon Township’s Nora Grimm won the individual race with a time of 19 minutes, 46 seconds. Cinnaminson’s Haley Adams finishing second, five seconds behind Grimm.

All three teams are expected to compete for the Group I title this weekend, according to nj.com.
