Cinnaminson High School Boys Basketball Team Is Playoff Bound

The Pirates are the No. 6 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 tournament.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — The Cinnaminson High School boys basketball team will begin its quest for a South Jersey title at home.

The Pirates are the No. 6 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffsand will host No. 11 Sterling in the first round on Monday, Feb. 25, 6 p.m., according to nj.com.

The winner will play the winner of the game between No. 3 Pleasantville and No. 14 Point Pleasant Boro in the quarterfinals on Feb. 27. The semifinals are set for March 1, with the championship game set for March 4.

Cinnaminson is 14-6 this season, including winning streaks of five and six games, according to nj.com. Sterling has just nine wins against 13 losses. At 20-1, Haddonfield is the top seed in the tournament.
