Cinnaminson Man Attacked With Beer Bottle in Bar Parking Lot: Police

The man was seriously injured after he was hit in the head and neck. The suspect was arrested about 2 hours later.

Cinnaminson, NJ -- An alert witness helped Cinnaminson Police capture a suspect who attacked a Cinnaminson man with a beer bottle Saturday night, police said.

Mark S. Morano Jr., of Delanco, was charged with the aggravated assault of a 24-year-old man in the parking lot of the Whistler’s Inn around 11:23 p.m.

Police allege Morano hit the man with a beer bottle in the head an neck. The victim was seriously injured and taken by friends to a local hospital. He was then transferred to Cooper Trauma for treatment, and later released.

After the attack, Morano fled the area in a car, police said. An alert witness took a picture of the license plate on the suspect vehicle with a cell phone.

Using the picture, police were able to identify Morano as the suspect, and he was arrested without incident about two hours later.

Morano’s bail was set at $50,000 full, and he was lodged in Burlington County Jail.
