A Cinnaminson High School alum is the newest Philadelphia Phillies ball girl, according to the Burlington County Times.

One year after falling short of joining the squad, Valerie Miller, 22, is ready to take the field at Citizen’s Bank Park, according to the report.

In a video interview posted on the Phillies website last year, Miller described herself as a passionate and dedicated softball fan. That video is attached to this post.

She played softball at Cinnaminson High School and Holy Family University.

Miller looks forward to participating in the charity work Phillies ball girls participate in, including visiting the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for Halloween, according to the report.

“I try to do my best to look out for people. I really care about people a lot,” Miller said last year.

The Phillies open the season April 6 at home against the Boston Red Sox.
