Cinnaminson Rotarians Now Part Of Regional Club

Members of the Palmyra-Riverton-Cinnaminson Rotary Club are now members of the West Jersey Rotary Club.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — The Palmyra-Riverton-Cinnaminson Rotary Club has merged with three rotary clubs under the umbrella of the Rotary Club of West Jersey, the clubs announced on Thursday.

It began when members of the Rotary Club of Willingboro decided that there may be community minded professionals who share the Rotary ideals of “Service above Self,” who live and work in many of the communities south of Willingboro along the Route 130 corridor.

After in depth discussion and a member wide vote, the membership overwhelmingly chose The Rotary Club of West Jersey as the most representative name serving the various communities along the Delaware river/Route 130 corridor.

In addition to the Willingboro and Palmyra-Riverton-Cinnaminson, members of the Beverly and Riverside-Delran-Delanco rotary clubs are members of the new club.

They are now reaching out to those professionals and leaders along this corridor who are interested in networking with others and who want to “Serve to Change Lives” in their community to contact the Rotary Club of West Jersey.

“Their membership will be most welcome,” Rotary Club of West Jersey President Sue Hammer said.

She and her husband John, former district governor of District 7505 (all of south Jersey), joined the Willingboro club two years ago after a long association with Rotary in other areas.

For more information, contact Hammer at suehammer@juno.com or visit the Rotary Club of West Jersey’s website or Facebook page. The club meets via Zoom every Thursday at noon, and the link to their Zoom meetings is online.
