Cinnaminson School Budget Approved With Tax Increase
Declining property values contributed to the increase, according to the Cinnaminson Sun.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — The average Cinnaminson taxpayer will see an increase of $114.03 after the Cinnaminson Board of Education approved its $50.8 million budget this week. It includes a 2 percent tax levy increase, and the total budget is up 2.68 percent from last year, according to the Cinnaminson Sun. The increase comes out to about $9.50 a month for the average homeowner.
Due to declining property values in Cinnaminson, school taxes automatically increases by $5, something Superintendent Salvatore Illuzzi told the Sun was “a disaster for budget preparation.”
Class size will remain steady, and all programs and services will be maintained, according to the report. The district purchased five new school buses and hired some new staff.
