Search For NJ Hit-And-Run Driver As 9-Year-Old Victim ID'd
A 9-year-old girl was killed and two others were seriously hurt in the accident Sunday night in Mount Laurel.

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ - New Jersey State Police are asking for the public's help to identify a car in connection with an accident that killed a 9-year-old girl and seriously injured two others in an accident on I-295 in Mount Laurel Sunday night.
Madelynn Rizzo, of Union, was pronounced dead on the scene of the accident that took place just after 6 p.m. Sunday night, Nov. 25, New Jersey State Police said Monday afternoon. Marcelo Rizzo, 37, of Elizabeth, and Juliana Rizzo, 8, of Union, were seriously injured in the crash, and were taken to Cooper Medical Center.
Marcello Rizzo was driving erratically when he hit an unknown car with his Ford Focus in the center lane of the highway near milepost 38, police said. His car went off the road into a wooded area, where it struck several trees.

The other car fled the scene of the accident, police said. Detectives believe Rizzo rear-ended the unknown car on the passenger side, causing damage to the rear quarter panel and/or rear passenger side bumper.
