With a final vote set on a proposed ordinance on outdoor dining, here's a look at the impact of coronavirus in Cinnaminson.
CINNAMINSON, NJ — Cinnaminson Township Committee is set to vote Monday night on a proposed ordinance that would allow restaurants and bars to expand outdoor dining in the township.
Although a resolution passed at the last committee meeting already permits this, the proposed ordinance is just another step as the township and the state reopens amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The pandemic in Cinnaminson has not seen any new cases in three days as of Thursday afternoon. There hasn’t been a confirmed death due to the coronavirus in the township in more than a week.

As of Thursday, there are 199 cases of the coronavirus in Cinnaminson with 25 confirmed deaths. Wynwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Cinnaminson has recorded 89 cases and 20 confirmed deaths among residents, and 24 cases and zero deaths among staff members.

There are now 5,652 cases of the coronavirus in Burlington County with 427 confirmed deaths and 48 probable deaths.
If the proposed ordinance is approved Monday night, restaurants and bars in the township to serve food and drink outside for 120 days. The agenda has not yet been posted for Monday’s meeting, but residents have been able to participate in recent meetings via Zoom. Instructions can be found on the township website.

Deaths in Cinnaminson have involved an 84-year-old woman, two 77-year-old women, a 74-year-old woman, a 91-year-old man, an 85-year-old man, two 82-year-old women, an 88-year-old man, a 75-year-old man, a 78-year-old man, an 87-year-old woman, an 83-year-old woman, a 71-year-old woman, an 89-year-old man, three 86-year-old men, a 75-year-old man, an 87-year-old man, a 74-year-old woman, an 89-year-old woman, a 90-year-old man, a 60-year-old man and an 82-year-old woman. Burlington County is actively engaged in contact tracing positive coronavirus cases. The focus is on close contacts, defined as closer than 6 feet for more than 10 minutes, household contacts and those that work in high risk settings such as healthcare workers and long term care facilities. If community exposure has occurred, where a coronavirus positive person was in close contact with people for an extended period of time, while symptomatic, county officials will notify the public. Since residents are abiding by the social distancing requirements, officials said they have not run into that issue since early in the pandemic.
Reminder: Mass exposure, due to social distancing guidelines, and the cooperation of the public has been minimized. Residents are reminded to remain 6 feet apart while obtaining essential items or services, and stay home unless absolutely necessary.
