Water Main Improvement Work Begins in Cinnaminson
The $715,000 project will replace 3,780 feet of 50-year-old water mains.

Cinnaminson, NJ -- The replacement of 3,780 feet of water mains from the 1960s on seven different streets will begin in Cinnaminson this week, New Jersey American Water announced on Monday.
The aging 6-inch concrete, and 4-inch and 6-inch cast iron mains will be replaced with new 8-, 6- and 4-inch ductile iron pipes.
New Jersey American Water is investing more than $715,000 on this project designed to improve water service reliability and increase water flows for both household use and firefighting.

The streets involved in this project are:
- Hemlock Lane; between Walnut Place to Lilac Lane
- Lilac Lane; between Hemlock Lane to Willow Drive
- Willow Drive; between Lilac Lane and Route 130
- Fernwood Place; between Willow Drive to Boxwood Lane
- Hunter Street; between Union Landing Road to Pear Avenue
- Davis Avenue; between Hunter Street to End of Roadway
- James Street; between Land Street to End of Roadway
New Jersey American Water asks that pedestrians and drivers use caution in these areas.

Work is expected to be finished by the end of September, weather permitting. The township will complete paving in the fall.
