What To Expect As School Resumes In Cinnaminson
School will resume in Cinnaminson on Thursday with a mix of in-person and remote learning. Here's what to expect.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Thursday will be the first day of school for students in the Cinnaminson Public School District. For students everywhere, school will be different this year, as some students will attend school and some will learn remotely, amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Students in the Cinnaminson Public School District will be split into three groups for the upcoming school year.
Two of the groups will attend school in-person two days a week and have three days of remote learning. The third group will be reserved for special populations of students, such as those who attend self-contained programs or preschoolers with disabilities.

Group A will consist of students whose last names begin with A-K. This group will attend school on Mondays and Thursdays. Group B will consist of students whose last names begin with L-Z. This group will attend school on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Wednesdays will be a remote learning day for all students. By offering a hybrid option, the district is looking to reduce the population of each school by 50 percent.
All students, staff, and visitors will be required to wear face coverings upon entering school buses, facilities, and at all times while on school property. Medical exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis when supported by a doctor's note and when social distancing can be achieved.
Handwashing, respiratory hygiene, use of hand-sanitizer (greater than 60% alcohol) and the use of other EPA/FDA approved products will be accessible in the buildings and use will be encouraged via daily reminders and consistent signage throughout district buildings. Hand sanitizer will be available on all busses, in all classrooms and in all common areas.
Anyone experiencing symptoms of the coronavirus will be asked to stay home.
Classrooms will be reconfigured to help students maintain social distancing of 6 feet in compliance with health and safety guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Classrooms will be cleaned daily and between cohort use through a combination of school district personnel, contracted employees, and individual student responsibility.
All schools will have visual aids, markings, and prominent signage to assist students, staff and visitors in managing social distancing, directional flow through hallways, and large group areas.Passenger limits will be placed on buses to promote social distancing.
The district will also offer a 100 percent remote learning option as mandated by the governor. Read more here: Cinnaminson Schools To Offer In-Person, Remote Learning This Fall
The most important thing to expect is the unexpected. No one thought last year at this time that schools would close in March for the rest of the academic year, and school administrators remind residents the situation for this school year is fluid.
