Barnabas Health Medical Group Welcomes Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner to Roselle Cardiology Practice

Barnabas Health Medical Group (BHMG) recently announced Bozena Lewicki, a board-certified adult and geriatric nurse practitioner, has joined the BHMG cardiology practice led by Peter M. Lenchur, M.D. in Roselle, N.J. The practice is affiliated with both Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Saint Barnabas Medical Center.

Prior to joining Dr. Lenchur’s practice, Ms. Lewicki served as a medical-surgical staff nurse in the emergency department at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, N.J., where she cared for critically ill patients and managed telemetry, geriatric, cardiac, oncology, OB-GYN and renal patients in medical and surgical settings. Ms. Lewicki also utilized evidence-based guidelines, supported a holistic approach to care for adult patients, handled document assessment data and maintained charts to ensure best protocols as well as provided patient education, satisfaction and safety measures.

A member of the American Nurse Association, Ms. Lewicki earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner degrees from Rutgers University in Newark, N.J. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Saint Elizabeth, Morristown, N.J. As well as being a board-certified nurse practitioner, Ms. Lewicki is also a licensed professional registered nurse, has completed a critical care course and holds IV, ventilator care and basic EKG certifications. She is also certified in advanced cardiovascular life support, pediatric life support and basic life support. She is fluent in English and Polish.
