Civil War Reenactments and Educational Demonstrations June 1st & 2nd

Visit the Dr.Robinson Museum (circa 1690) this weekend, June 1st & 2nd for spectacular Civil War Reenactments and demonstrations. Includes candlelight tours, Civil War militaria displays and dancing.

Civil War Weekend at the Dr. Robinson Museum will be held on Saturday, June 1st from 9am – 4pm and Sunday, June 2nd from 10am – 3pm. There will be battle reenactments at Esposito Park at 1pm on Saturday and Sunday. All weekend there will be demonstrations for making hatboxes, playing children’s games and dancing all from the Civil War period. The reenactors will be camping overnight and the public can walk through the camp and speak with the soldiers. On Saturday night there will be candlelight tours of the museum as well as the soldiers encampment. There is no admission for the weekend but donations are welcomed. The souvenir shop is open, the herb garden is blooming and we are ADA accessible. On street parking is available or parking available at Esposito Park.
