As the birds begin to chirp and the grass starts showing color, we know spring is almost here. The Yankees and Mets are stretching in spring training. This is also a time where the kids of Clark start dusting off their baseball gloves and cleats and hit the outdoors. While it may be a bit chilly to practice outdoors, the kids, coaches and team moms of Clark Little league will be hitting the gyms during the first week of March for our version of spring training. There is as much excitement that first week in Clark as there is in any spring training facility in Florida.

Clark Little League will spend a month practicing and scrimmaging before the much anticipated opening day on April 2nd. This will build up to the annual ticker tape Little League Parade (minus the ticker tape) on April 7th through our version of the Canyon of Heroes,,, Westfield Avenue. We will also be marching in the Clark Memorial Day parade which has been a tradition at CLL for many years.
Recently we had our winter clinic for the under 9 year olds at Brewer School. Full Count Baseball conducted a coaches clinic and East Coast Conditioning will be conducting a clinic in early March for all of our children. We will be having another Rutger's Training course, which is mandatory for all of our coaches, in early March.
