Renner Brown, Butch Kowals and C&K Scrap Capture Clark Little League World Series Titles!

Capping off a great season, Renner Brown , Butch Kowals and C&K Scrap captured World Series titles in 2012. All three series went the max three games as Renner Brown defeated Lee’s Auto Body, Butch Kowals defeated Fire Department and C&K stunned S&S Financial in front of large enthusiastic crowds at the CLL complex. 2012 was a season of great stories.
In the Majors, Champion Renner Brown and Lee’s Auto Body battled all season and eventually in the World Series which saw a climatic game 3 take a 0-0 score into the 5th inning. Congratulations to Lee's as they came off a 3 win season in 2011 to go 15-5.

In the Minors, four teams tied for 1st place going into the final weekend as Dufek&Migliaro earned the top spot with a victory over Fire Department in the final game. Fire Department then knocked off top seeded Dufek&Migliaro in the playoff semi finals to advance to the World Series.
In the 8’s, C&K Scrap knocked off the two regular season powerhouses Bonaccorso Landscaping and S&S Financial to capture a dramatic World Series crown.

2012 Highlights:
The regular season ended in mid-June but there are 11 Tournament and New Providence Green League teams continuing their summer baseball well into July. Our Peewee division will begin their extended season this week which will have 6 and 7 yr olds playing baseball into July.
Our June 10th Picnic at the Deutscher Club in Clark was a big success as the Little League boys and Softball girls combined for a memorable event.
The annual Clark Memorial Parade featured a contingent of Little Leaguers marching and honoring our fallen veterans.
Our 12 yr old graduation game is scheduled in July and is always a bash as our graduating 12 yr olds hold one final celebration game.
