This Week in Clark Little League 6/15...World Series Champs & the Clark Invitational Tournament

Clark Little League crowned it’s champs after a great season of baseball. 

In the majors, PBA swept Renner Brown 3-2 and 3-0. It was a great series highlighting superior pitching and fielding. 

In the minors it was Butch Kowal’s over Fire Department in 3 games.  Fire Department jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the series with a 10-5 victory in the opener.  Butch Kowal's came back to win game two  3-1.  Game 3 was a classic with Butch Kowal’s clinching the series with a 6-4 victory.

In the 8 yr old division C&K Scrap vs. Dufek & Migliaro went 2 games as C&K pulled out two hard fought games 7-5 and 10-3.

Clark Invitational Tournament

CLL is hosting our annual Clark Invitational Tournament.  This is an exciting time at the complex as visiting teams battle it out in this two week tournament. We have completed week one in the 11, 10, and 8 yr old divisions as our three Clark teams are undefeated. 

In the 11’s,  Clark remains the no. 1 seed and stay undefeated at 4-0 as they compete against Livingston, Millburn, Bernardsville, Cranford, Scotch Plains and Roselle Park.

In the 10’s,  Clark also remains the no. 1 seed at 4-0 competing against Middlesex, Scotch Plains, Holmdel, Chatham, Millburn, Cranford, Kenilworth, Fanwood, Elmora & Roselle Park.

In their first ever tournament, the 8’s have dominated as they make it through week one as the number one seed at 4-0  competing against Livingston, Chatham, Holmdel, North Edison, Fanwood, Kenilworth, Cranford, Millburn, Warren & Scotch Plains.

We are entering the championship week and it should be exciting as the weather will be beautiful.  Come on down and watch some good baseball and root Clark on!
