Center for Hope Auxiliary Hosts its Annual Wine Tasting

The Center for Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Auxiliary will be hosting it’s Annual Wine Tasting from 1:00 to 4:00 on Sunday, June 5th . The festivities will take place at 16 Prospect Street Wine Bar and Bistro located on Prospect Street in Westfield.

The event will feature passed hors d’oeuvres and tasting of various wines. There will be a silent auction including wonderful items such as rounds of golf for four, electronics, tickets to Jersey attractions, family adventures and fantastic baskets of wine and wine accessories. All this makes for an afternoon of wine, food, friends and fun….all in support of a wonderful cause!

The Auxiliary supports the Center for Hope Hospice and Pallliative Care, a non-profit organization located in Scotch Plains. The Center provides loving care for terminally ill patients and their families in two residential facilities and also in a patient’s home. The care is provided regardless of a patient’s financial situation, age, race, religion or ethnicity.

The Auxiliary raises funds through various fundraising activities throughout the year. One of the principal fundraisers is the Hope Chest Thrift Store. The store sells new or gently used clothing, housewares, books, jewelry and books. Donations are welcome Tuesday and Saturday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
