Clark BOE Appoints Two New Positions at Special Meeting
Lori Kowalski will be a school nurse at the Clark Preschool Annex and Bettina Mianulli will be physical education and health teacher at Kumpf School.

As a means of assuring newly hired teachers were able to start their employment with the opening of the school year, the Clark Board of Education held a special meeting on the first day of school, Sept. 6, for the purpose of appointing new staff members.
Appointed to positions in District were Lori Kowalski, school nurse at the Clark Preschool Annex, and Bettina Mianulli, physical education and health teacher at Kumpf School. Kowalski had been working in the capacity of substitute teacher at the Clark Preschool Annex, with the appointment she now becomes full-time in the capacity. Mianulli is a recent graduate of Hofstra University where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and a Master’s Degree in Health. Both will start their new positions on Sept. 7.
Superintendent of Schools Kenneth Knops stated that he was grateful to the Clark Board of Education for holding the special meeting. “We are extremely fortunate that we have a Board of Education that is so committed and dedicated to the education of our students," said Knops. "By having this special meeting, it assures that both Lori and Bettina can begin their employment in District coinciding with the start of the school year. They are two extremely gifted educators, each will make a positive impact in their new positions.”
