The Babe Ruth League and Clark Little League have merged this winter to form the Clark Junior and Senior Leagues.

This release was received from Clark Little League.
When the ground thaws and the temperature rises this spring, Clark Little League baseball will roll out two new divisions for the youth of Clark, Garwood and Winfield Park.
The Babe Ruth League and Clark Little League have merged this winter to form the Clark Junior and Senior Leagues under the Little League International umbrella. The Junior and Senior League baseball will continue to be played at Hehnly School with the added element and variety of playing a home and away schedule against other LL District 10 teams. The goal is to revitalize rec. baseball in the area in these age groups.

13 and 14 year olds will play in the Junior League while 15 and 16 year olds will play in the Senior League. Structurally, this is a new and exciting direction. The league will change from one league of four teams which included all age groups 13 through 16 who played each other during the season. Under the new format the 13 and 14 year old Junior division will play a home and away schedule against other District 10 teams in surrounding towns of the same age group. The 15 and 16 year old Senior division will do the same. Each division will form a district tournament team to compete for a state title.
Clark Little League is also getting ready to begin indoor practices for the 6 to 12 year old age groups on March 1st.
