Clark Pool Gets Ready For Summer With Renovations and Improvements
The pool held an open house on Saturday, May 21.
The Clark Pool held its open house this weekend, showing off several renovations to the facility, including a new diving board. The pool is in its 37th year of operation and will be opening for Memorial Day weekend. At the open house, guests registered for membership, toured the facility and had questions about the pool answered.
In addition to the new diving board, the pool is seeing some other changes. The snack shack is under new management this year, who promise a large and improved list of food and beverages. There are new programs like Aqua Zumba. For ages 14 and older, Aqua Zumba provides an aquatic version of the popular Latin workout. The program runs at $40 per session and takes place Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:15 a.m.
Another popular and returning feature is the light night swim with a DJ, which will take place July 13 and 29, August 10 and 26. There will also be a DJ in the afternoon on Sunday, June 26 and Sunday, September 4. On every other Friday starting June 17 will be Friday Floats, where inflatable floating devices will be permitted in the shallow end of the pool for a two hour time period.
