Clark Schools Sixth Grade Orientation

Fifth grade students from Valley Road and Hehnly Elementary schools in Clark are invited to come with their parents to Carl H. Kumpf Middle School for a Sixth Grade Orientation night.

The transition to middle school can be a time of great trepidation for students and parents alike.  Informed students and knowledgeable parents experience significantly less anxiety in this process and transition to the middle school much more easily.  In an effort to alleviate any existing concerns, we invite parents and students to attend.

The orientation is designed to better familiarize families with the school facility, curriculum and extracurricular programs.  Parents will meet in the cafeteria for a presentation and refreshments while incoming students visit with Kumpf Peer Leaders and members of the faculty.  Students will receive a tour of the building and will be given an opportunity to ask questions about the middle school.
