
Trailside Nature & Science Center Presents:
DISCOVER HIKING – Enjoy the sights and sounds of the season as we take a walk on one of the color coded hiking trails. Find out the preparations, precautions and the do’s and don’ts of hiking. Learn to use a trail map, read trail blazes and lead the group down a marked trail. Look for animal tracks, bird nests, ground hog burrows and butterflies along the way. Meet at: TMA Field (behind old museum).

Fee: $5.00 per person for Union County residents, $6.00 per person for out-of-county residents.
Pre-registration is required for Friday Family Programs. These programs are for all ages with an adult unless otherwise noted. Programs are held rain or shine unless the weather is severe. Please call Trailside at 908-789-3670 to find out if a program has been canceled due to inclement weather. Babies must be in backpacks.
