"Stream Stroll" Friday Family Program at Trailside

August 19, 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.

STREAM STROLL – Beat the heat as you search the babbling brook for crayfish, salamanders, and aquatic insects.  Carefully collect, identify and release these tiny creatures and learn how they help predict the health of the stream.  Meet at: TMA Field (behind old museum).  Wear: shoes that can get wet.

Fee: $6.00 per person for Union County residents, $7.00 per person for out-of-county residents.

Pre-registration is required for Friday Family Programs.  These programs are for all ages with an adult unless otherwise noted.  Programs are held rain or shine unless the weather is severe.  Please call Trailside at 908-789-3670 to find out if a program has been canceled due to inclement weather.  Babies must be in backpacks.
